Drawing Analyzer

HDD Drawing & Core Log Analyzer

Upload an HDD plan/profile drawing and the matching core sample logs. The analyzer reads the title block, pipe configuration table, drill geometry, and soil layers, then sends the values straight into the HDD Coating Risk calculator for the pipe you choose.

How extraction works — and what to verify

Each PDF page is rasterized at 250 DPI. The analyzer first identifies the title block, pipe configuration table, profile geometry view, and plan view. Each region is then read with a focused vision pass, which is more reliable than reading the whole sheet at once.

Always verify the extracted pipe OD, drill length, bend radius, and soil layer breakdown against the source drawing before running a calculation. The analyzer flags missing or unclear values, but does not catch every misreading.

Wall thickness, bore diameter, and steel grade are pipe specs — they typically do not appear on the HDD drawing, so you will fill those manually after pre-fill.
